In support of Buckingham Town Council’s Fringe Week which is celebrating the 100th birthday of Sir David Attenborough.
Manor Farm and Buckingham Flower Farm are creating ‘The Attenborough Hedge’— planting 100 trees, one for each remarkable year of Sir David Attenborough’s life. It will be a living tribute to a man who has inspired and educated generations about the flora, fauna, insects, animals and oceans of our beautiful planet.
Long after the celebrations end, this hedgerow will continue to grow — feeding pollinators, sheltering wildlife, and standing as a lasting reminder of what a community can achieve together.
A suggested donation of £5 will plant one tree.
Collection boxes can be found at:
Manor Farm Butchery, Larder Café and Buckingham Flower Farm
If you would like to help to plant the trees, community planting dates shall be arranged soon — do keep an eye out for details.
