This event is part of the Flora Thompson & Lark Rise to Candleford Festival, commemorating the 150th anniversary of Flora Thompson's birth with a special programme of events at Buckingham Old Gaol.

Tickets for this talk by author Suzy Stathers can be purchased from the Old Gaol Museum Shop from 3rd August (£10 per person).

The Museum shall also have a temporary exhibition for this event, in addition to their permanent Flora Thompson room. a temporary exhibition exploring her life and work, plus talks, a guided walk and a Heritage Open Day.​
