Thrills and spills all the way and Emma Thompson brandishing a shot-gun!  A kidnap, a frozen lake, a remote cabin and a terminally ill hospital employee with maniacal tendencies will keep you on the edge of your seat! Thompson plays Barb, a widow about to scatter her husband’s ashes over Lake Hilda (North Minnesota), when she stumbles across the kidnapped victim, Leah.  In attempting to rescue Leah, Barb is pitted against her two kidnappers, who will stop at nothing to prevent her escape.  There will be blood and a lot of shooting but the cinematography is brilliant, creating an icy chill to an otherwise spectacular winter landscape.
